Function buttons

Function buttons appear on each page. Only the buttons that are applicable to the user's role appear. In addition, only the buttons that can be used on the selected page at the specific phase of the inspection can be selected (i.e. they are not grayed-out).

The "View History" button opens the following pop-up window and allows the Service Advisor or Technician to view all previous inspection reports (MPIs) for the current vehicle in a PDF format. Click the RO# to see the details. Repair order history appears at the bottom of the report.

The "View Menu" button opens a PDF version of the maintenance menu appropriate for time and mileage as presented to the customer at the time of write-up.

If Tire Profiles or Hunter Engineering integration is enabled for your dealership - The "Tire Report" button opens a PDF of the tire scan diagnostic report. If no report is available for the VIN, a message appears.

The "Status Log" button opens the following pop-up window indicating a date/time-stamped log of all actions taken since the inspection was created including revisions.

Click "Save" to preserve changes applied to the specific page. Also, an inspection is claimed by the currently logged in Technician when they click "Save".

If enabled for your dealership - The "All OK" button defaults all inspection items to green ('OK'). You will be asked to confirm.

The "Mark Completed' button marks the inspection status as Completed and automatically sends a notification to the Service Advisor (or Parts Advisor, if “Parts Requested” was selected by the Technician). In order to ensure that tire and brake data is always entered, the button only becomes active once all tire and brake measurements have been entered and saved. Refer to Completing the inspection .

For Service Advisor and Dealer Administrator – The "Mark Reviewed" button is selected after the Service Advisor reviews the inspection, prior to discussing it with the customer. Changes the status to Reviewed. Refer to Reviewing the inspection.

For Service Advisor and Dealer Administrator – The "Confirm" button is selected after the Service Advisor reviews the completed inspection with the customer. This updates the status to Confirmed. Use when all inspection items have been approved/deferred. Refer to Confirming the work.

If enabled for your dealership - For Technician, Parts Advisor, Service Advisor and Dealer Administrator - The "Revise Inspection' button is used to alter inspection information once the inspection is in Completed, Reviewed or Confirmed status. Refer to Making revisions .
